The Economy Crisis of2008impacts the whole world especially the global corporations. Many companies take the cost-down method to bring down their operational cost in order to survive in the crisis. However, the financial status is getting worse and worse from2008to2013which results into severe competitions among all the corporations. Only to cut down the cost will not help too much, many businesses start to apply ways like organization restructuring, business integration, change of business or business process re-engineering to reduce the financial impact.Being one of the global giant players, G company initiates organization change to fight back the market environment challenge, harmonize organization relationship, improve organization efficiency and better develop organizational strategy. This essay took the case of organization change of G company in2012. It starts with G company Energy business de-layer, describes the attrition of executive level leadership team, and also the resistance from team conflicts during the change. It analyses the motivations of the org-change, the relationship of different factors of the change like business strategy, business culture, organization structure and human resources. Finally, it provides suggestions and advises to G company by referring to which can others resolve the similar issues of other organization change.The essay consists of four major sections:First section is the background introduction of current market and business. Secondly, it describes the issues occurred during the org-change in2012, following which it analyses the reasons of those problems by leveraging methodology of organization and change. Finally, proposals are provided to resolve the issues and how to do a good organization change for big organization like G company. The analysis of G company re-org case under the current economy situation across region, culture and business is very much meaningful. The proposals can also be leveraged by companies who are in similar situation to resolve the real business problems.
