Leisure agriculture is a new tourism industry combining agriculture andtourism,which integrates agricultural activities， natural landscape， technologydemonstration，entertainment，and environmental protection． With a triple property ofproduction，tourism and entertainment, it cultivates the path of the eco-tourism agriculture，breaks through the predatory mode of production in traditional agriculture，and achievescomplementary advantages of the primary industry and tertiary industry by enhancing thelevel and benefit of the primary industry，and enriching the connotation of the tertiaryindustry. And in consequence the ecological benefits，economic benefits，social benefitswill be well integrated.As a new pattern to develop agriculture and tourism, Leisure agriculture is regarded asa sunrise industry in the modern agriculture with a very broad prospects by expending thefunction of agriculture and tourism. With the development of leisure agriculture, severalpositive influences on agriculture industry have been revealed, such as transferring thesurplus labor from countryside to the non-agricultural industry, increasing the profit ofagriculture and farmers, improving the environment of village and enhancing the quality ofthe resident, consequently the development of leisure agriculture is of great significance inthe construction of beautiful countryside ofAnHui Province.The purpose of this paper is how to build a strategic plan for the building of a bettercountryside. Firstly, the paper analyzes the background of building beautiful countrybuilding and developing leisure agriculture and clarifies the purpose and significance ofthis study. Secondly, the paper describes the current situation and progress of buildingbeautiful countryside and leisure agriculture research. The paper also highlights the basictheory of leisure agriculture, including the sustainable development theory, theory of urbanand rural development, theory of agricultural location variation and regional differentiation.On this basis, the paper analyzes the dialectical relationship between beautiful country andleisure agricultural that leisure agriculture is an important way to build a better countrysideand building a better countryside is the premise and great opportunities for leisureagriculture development. Finally, with the introduction of typical case, the author analyzesthe experiences and problems of domestic and foreign of leisure agriculture development.Based on the above analysis, the research points out the main problems of leisureagriculture in national and provincial development including insufficient attention ofscientific planning and lack of policy support, poor species, non-standard managementservices and infrastructure. Finally, based on the background of building beautifulcountryside, using the SWOT analysis, discussed the development of leisure agriculture inAnhui province. And also presents the measures of leisure agriculture developmentincluding to improve public services, tourism and infrastructure combined with theprovincial plan for better countryside construction; to foster the construction of leisureagriculture industry gathering area; to mine culture connotation deeply based on culturalprotection of building a better countryside; to strengthen personnel training under thebackground of better country style building.In short, leisure agriculture is a sunrise industry in our country, and also is animportant means for Anhui Province to achieve the goal of building a better country. The development of leisure agriculture shows the way of modern agriculture sustainabledevelopment, and also provides lasting power for tourism development. However, manyquestions remain to be answered, and therefore the government, leisure agricultureassociations and cooperatives, and proprietor need work together to promote the rapiddevelopment of leisure agriculture for the goal of building new countryside in AnhuiProvince.
