Abstract:In the increasingly competitive global market, the competition of supply chain has replaced the competition between enterprises. In order to enhance its competitiveness in the market, the modern enterprise must improve the management level and operational efficiency of their supply chain. To achieve this purpose, supply chain performance need to be evaluated scientifically and comprehensively at first.Basing on the network structure of supply chain, the questions on supply chain network performance evaluation are studied in this paper. By analyzing the link between the efficiency of the overall supply chain network and the operational efficiency of the enterprises in the supply chain, the collaborative operational efficiency of the whole supply chain network is evaluated scientifically.This thesis firstly reviews and summarizes the present research situation about the supply chain performance evaluation, and points out the limitations of the current study. Secondly, based on the concept of supply chain and supply chain performance evaluation, the concept of supply chain network performance evaluation is proposed and the advantages of network DEA is analyzed when it is used to evaluate the supply chain network performance; Then, considering the characteristics of the network DEA method and supply chain network structure, a two-stage supply chain performance evaluation model is developed based on network DEA; And in the case of the time continuity, a supply chain network performance evaluation model is developed which considers the time factors.An application of the model to a numerical example is presented in the last of the paper. By comparing the result with that generated by traditional single-stage DEA model, we can find that network-based DEA model not only has high degree of distinction, but also can reflect the actual operational status of supply chain. At the further, the sensitivity of the supply chain network performance to the coefficient of time factors is analyzed, and find that the supply chain performance largely relies on the peripheral circumstance of the supply chain operation. The numerical results show that, the supply chain network performance evaluation model can get more accurate and comprehensive result of performance evaluation for the supply chain network formed by different node enterprises, and provides scientific decision bases for supply chain and enterprise managers.
