Logistics network system is a complex dynamic system consisting of multiple interdependent parts, which is to provide logistics services. For coal logistics network, with features of large volume, long distance and more nodes, it is vulnerable to be affected by some factors such as network structure, transport capacity, working tools, logistics nodes operational capacity, environment and others, which lead to the failure of nodes or lines in the network, thus the network cannot fulfillment logistics services. Researchers from home and abroad consider little about the probability of the network to complete logistics services during the coal logistics network optimization design. Therefore, it is important to study the optimization of coal logistics network based on reliability constraint. The paper researches in the nodes selection and logistics amount allocation against a multi-level coal logistics network. Firstly, analyzes the coal logistics network structure and failure status, and proposes the concept of coal logistics network reliability refer to the definition of network reliability, and analyzes impacts of coal logistics network resource properties, structural characteristics and operational features on the network reliability; Secondly, puts forward to the optimization goal on the basis of studying the relationship between coal logistics network reliability and coal logistics network optimization, and using a method based on minimal path to calculate coal logistics network reliability to construct coal logistics network optimization model based on reliability constraint; Thirdly, decomposes the problem into location decision and logistics capacity allocation decision and uses a genetic algorithm to solve the model; Finally, uses MATLAB to simulate the constructed example to verify the effectiveness and rationality of the algorithm.
