Tracing the origin, the research show that the most of company just cover the total quality management to the company internal, for upstream of the supply chain (supplier) are often not covered. Which lead to just find bad parts of suppliers and return, it will impact to production line shutdown and delay product delivery; If you can’t find the supplier’s bad parts and let it go to production line, if the final inspection can find out it that the production line must to rework; if final inspection could not find out it then the poor quality product will move to customer site, lead to customer complaints.AHF Company faced such a dilemma; believe that there are many company are facing the same dilemma. But most company is negative-a containment action, by increasing the incoming goods inspection, process inspection, or requiring suppliers to enlarge stock proportion and so on. Anyway, is in fact by resources to exchange stability, by requiring suppliers to increase the number of finished goods consumption to replace number of nonconforming product. AHF Company doesn’t want to fall into dilemma, decided to set up project team to solve the issue thoroughly.In this paper, using the six sigma DMAIC method and process for project research about AHF company’s product quality issue, in this case practice to use two six sigma nested loop. Outer loop nesting definition is AHF products quality issue. Inner loop nesting is the high defective rate of supplier’s parts. The inner loop nesting is a nested child of outer loop nesting, the phenomenon of outer loop nesting is AHF products quality issue, and the reason is the phenomenon of inner loop nesting of supplier parts high defective rate, the reason of inner loop nesting is supplier’s manufacturing process and process control. When move to the improvement phase it face to cross function, the same action, to support suppliers to improve manufacturing process and the creation of process control system. And then move to control phase of the project, form a supplier quality control system under the cover of AHF total quality management system.The success of this case is:first, to find the crux of the problem accurate by stepwise. Second, to practise "eight to two" principle of Pareto’s law, focus our work on the20%reason which be influenced by80%result. Third, always pay attention to the data evidence in whole project process, in everything from data. The result of the project is very successful, supplier’s parts defective rate and the AHF company quality indicator (product FPY and timely delivery rate) all on target.
