Research On Product Quality Management Optimization Of QP Company Based On Six Sigma

Influenced by Sino US trade frictions,aging population and rising costs,China’s traditional advantages in economic development are weakening,and the structural imbalance between supply and demand in the real economy has highlighted contradictions and problems.It is urgent to do our utmost to comprehensively improve quality and promote China’s economic development into a quality era.Looking back at the development history of quality management in China,from comprehensive quality management,ISO9000 quality management system to Six Sigma,Chinese enterprises are continuously learning to improve their product quality management level.Motorcycles,as lightweight,flexible,and fast moving means of transportation,are a beneficial supplement to the transportation system.After years of development,the Chinese motorcycle industry has become increasingly competitive in the market,and customers’ requirements for product quality are becoming increasingly stringent.As a motorcycle production enterprise,QP Company has widely applied the comprehensive quality management and ISO9000 quality management system,but its product quality level is no longer able to meet the current customer needs.It is urgent to optimize the current product quality management to improve the product quality level and meet future competition and challenges.This article first explores the development and application status of Six Sigma theory at home and abroad through literature research,pointing out the direction for research on quality management optimization.Starting from quality management related theories such as comprehensive quality management,quality management system,ISO9000 standards,and Six Sigma management,complete a comparative analysis of relevant theories,laying a theoretical foundation for the research of this article.On this basis,this article discusses the main practices of QP company in product quality management.QP company has always implemented comprehensive quality management and ISO9000 quality management system.By investigating the current problems in QP company’s product quality management and analyzing their causes,it is believed that the fundamental reason for the problems lies in the shortcomings of QP company’s existing comprehensive quality management and ISO9000 quality management system.Based on the existing practice of Total Quality Management and ISO9000 quality management system in QP Company,an optimization plan for product quality management based on Six Sigma is proposed.Finally,based on the QP company’s project to improve the first time qualification rate of motorcycles,a specific practice of Six Sigma management is presented.The Six Sigma DMAIC improvement model is used to explore the production process defects and quality improvement of motorcycle products,resulting in an optimized first time qualification rate of motorcycles increasing from 75% to 92%.The research in this article has important significance and role for QP company to solve the current quality management problems.The results and conclusions of this study are helpful for optimizing the implementation of quality management,improving the ability of quality management personnel,providing strong support for the improvement of QP company’s product quality level,and also providing reference and reference for the optimization of product quality management in other motorcycle enterprises.
