Research On The Regional Competitiveness Of Chinese Logistics Industry

The logistics industry as the "accelerator" of economic growth, has increasinglybecome an important index to measure comprehensive competitiveness of a country or anarea economy. At the same time, in the new situation of economic globalization, on thebasis of domestic market and the localization industry, Chinese logistics need to improvetheir international competitiveness continuously.This paper is mainly based on empirical analysis, supplemented by theoretical proof.First of all, the paper summarizes the fundamental theory of international competitiveness,establish regional international competitiveness evaluation index system. Then, accordingto the evaluation index system theory, combined with China’s national conditions, toanalyze the31area, the comprehensive evaluation index. Secondly, by the same way,comprehensive evaluation of three areas west and East China general index. Finally, putforward the policy suggestions on the future development of the logistics industryaccording to the results of empirical research. Empirical study found that China’s regionalinternational competitiveness of the top five are: GuangDong, JiangSu and ShanDong,ShangHai, BeiJing.China regional international competitiveness ranking is: East, Central,West. Empirical study results and China’s national conditions are consistent, in order tofurther improve the international competitiveness of China’s logistics industry, our countryneeds from the government’s policy guidance, logistics resource integration, informationmanagement, logistics standardization system construction and logistics personnel trainingand so on.
