The Quality Control And Management System In The C Simconductor Assembly&Test Factory

With the rapid development of China’s semiconductor industry, the package assemblyand test industry has grown quickly. Under the support of national policy, the capacity ofdomestic IC package assembly&test lines has gradually increased. However the practiceof the C company’s technology and quality management is still far behind the standard ofinternational advanced manufacturing giants. So C urgently needs to establish an advancedquality management system.This thesis first introduces the concept of quality and quality managementdevelopment history. Then describes the quality of the Operations Management System(QOS) and Process Control Systems (PCS) in Intel Corporation, which are the mostadvanced management concepts and systems in the world.Secondly we discuss how enterprises utilize Total Quality Management tools toimprove the quality of production process and achieve the goal of “Zero” defects.The third part of the thesis, we did the problems analysis of the quality control systemof the Company C. And it is followed by the improvement plans of the qualitymanagement system and application of Process Control Systems in the C Company.The forth part of the thesis performs the research on preventive maintenance ofproduction equipment and Error proofing techniques based on the process and productioncharacteristics of the semiconductor assembly&test lines. Then we propose to establish amodern information system for equipment maintenance management, and utilize Errorproofing techniques to prevent the human errors.At the end, the thesis is summarized with prospects for the continuous qualityimprovement.
