A Study On Supply Chain Risk Managementof H Company

After2008global economic crisis, more and more uncertainty isfulled of political and economic area in the worldwide. How to managesupply risk has become a critical component of supply chain managementin uncertain environment.Based on the theory of supply chain risk management, we expound thesource of supply risk and explain how to identify, analyze, evaluate,measure and manage the risk. Through the supply chain failure case of Hcompany, we propose to use Kraljic matrix as supplier managementprinciple and define the different sourcing strategy according to relatedpriority and evaluated the potential supply risk of H Company keysupplier via fuzzy analytic hierarchy process. Furthermore, we providedeffective solution to optimize multiple sourcing allocation and safetystock via mathematical model.The conclusion of the study on H company supply risk managementcan provide the valuable concept and solution to solve the problem forcompanies with weak procurement position in the market to pursue highquality componment.
