A Study On Purchaser-based Supplier Quality Management&Control System

With the rapid development of economy and the continuous advancement of scientice&technology, people’s requirement of life quality is increasing. No high-quality product, nohigh quality life. Accordingly，quality becomes the core of prod’ucts competition. Under thesame conditions， the one with better quality wins the competition. It is especially obviouswith this rule in the small household appliance industry which has the fullest and most maturemarket competition. As a purchasing company， how to procure the products with highperformance-price ratio and with the quality to fulifll the compan’ys strategy? is of the utmostimportance for improving the company’s competitiveness and for ensuring the company’scontinuous business expansion. However, it is unimaginable to get the products with highperformance-price ratio without a good Quality Management and Control System.The main purpose of this paper is to study Supplier Quality Management and ControlSystem from the perspective of a purchasing company. The object of the study is CN，a globalAmerican purchasing company specializing in small household appliances. The full textconsists of6chapters: the ifrst chapter expatiates the purpose and signiifcance of the study?summarizes the current situation of the study domestically or abroad； the second expatiatesquality management and the basic concept and relative theory on supplier management； in thethird，to aim at the suppliers of CN’s，it analyzes and studies the products quality state? qualitymanagement and control issues? as well as the root causes； the forth one discusses on how toestablish a Suppliers Quality Management and Control System by combination of theory andpractice； in the5th chapter, it states some problems which should be paid attention to when wetry to establish such a quality system； the last one summarizes the contents which have beendiscussed in the previous chapters.
