With the development of the social and market economy, the competition betweenenterprises has become increasingly fierce. In the fierce competition, talent competitionhas become the focus of competition of enterprise. The excellent system of the HumanResources management is becoming more and more important. As an important means ofhuman resource management, performance appraisal, in the role of corporate governanceis becoming more and more obvious. Effective performance evaluation, not only canimprove the staff’s ability, but also can improve the overall efficiency of enterprises,enhance the competitiveness of enterprises. In recent years, with the continuousdevelopment of engineering prospecting market, the engineering survey and designindustry has great changes: the development mode more emphasis on quality andefficiency; industry focus to strengthen technology innovation; management also requiresmore precise and effective. The competition between enterprises becomes more and moreintense, in this trend, many companies have realized that a set of effective and employeeperformance appraisal system, to improve the performance of the company, enhance thecompany’s core competitiveness, is of great significance to realize the strategic objectiveof the company.Using the advanced human resource theory, this paper analysis the present situationof the human resources management of HuaKan company, finding the existing problemsof company performance appraisal system, and the cause of the problem. On this basis,starting from the employee’s job responsibilities, job analysis in-depth, determine theprinciples and standards of performance appraisal, proposes the design of performanceappraisal system. In the process of design, according to the strategic target, the keyindicators and360degree performance appraisal method will target down to every levelevaluation index of middle managers and ordinary employees in, hoping to set upperformance appraisal system, to mobilize the enthusiasm of the staff, improve theefficiency of enterprises, realize the enterprise strategic objective. Finally, this paperdesigns a set of scientific employee performance evaluation system for HuaKan company, and presents the corresponding protection measures. It tests the evaluation systemthrough the trial in the drilling production team, analysis its advantages and disadvantages,and puts forward the reform direction. There are something to be pointed out that theresearch object of performance appraisal system in this paper is the middle managementand the employees of HuaKan company.In this paper, through the research on employee performance appraisal system ofHuakan company, improving the management system, meeting the realistic need of thecompany, it has reference significance to the exploration and survey of the relatedinstitutional enterprises on Engineering.
