| Resources in Hebei province are very rich and the labor price is relatively cheap, so themarket prospect is broad. As the opening to foreign countries is widen and related laws becomecomplete gradually, more and more active international investment joins in Hebei province.Butat present, there are problems: with the continuously introduced FDI, what kind of change hashappened in Hebei province’s industrial structure? What kind of relationship is between them?How does FDI affect Hebei province’s industrial structure? Aiming at these problems, it is verynecessary for us to further study the relationship between FDI and industry structure.The industrial structure has many influencing factors such as supply factor, demand factor,the international trade factor and the international investment factor, and so on. This paperchooses foreign direct investment factor. The thesis introduces the practical and theoreticalsignificance, reviews the detailed research at home and abroad about the relationship betweenFDI and industry structure, briefly points out the research idea and method. The insufficiencyand the innovation points are also expounded in this paper. The thesis defines the concept ofindustrial structure, the evolution rule of the industrial structure and the concept of FDI. Itanalyses the influencing mechanism of FDI on the industrial structure. And then, from Hebei’sreality, it combs the stage of development and current situation of FDI and industry structure inthe reform and opening up30years, and also describes FDI distribution between the threeindustries by lots of charts. Measurement model is also established, measuring the effect of FDIon the optimization of industrial structure in Hebei province. Based on the actual situation ofHebei province, it also analyzes FDI’s positive influence and negative influence on the industrialstructure in Hebei province. At last, the thesis gives policy recommendations to optimize theindustrial structure in Hebei province. |
