Study On The Impact Of China’s Outward Foreign Direct Investment In RCEP Countries On The Upgrading Of Domestic Industrial Structure

With the enhancement of national economic strength,China’s outward foreign direct investment has maintained a growing trend and gradually become an important force to promote the economic growth of all countries in the world.At the same time,domestic development is facing a period of strategic opportunities,and only by accelerating the construction of a modern industrial system and promoting the optimization and upgrading of the industrial structure can we achieve high-quality economic development.Relevant studies have shown that outward foreign direct investment in promoting home has been playing an important role in the optimization and upgrading of industrial structure,and the success and entry into force of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership(RCEP)negotiations will greatly affect the direct investment activities between China and other RCEP countries,at the same time,it will lead the domestic industrial structure change in the direction of more reasonable and more advanced.This thesis first analyzes how outward foreign direct investment affects the optimization and upgrading of industrial structure from the theoretical level,expounding the different motives of foreign direct investment in the upgrading of industrial structure effect,and discussing the different effects of RCEP country direct investment on the optimization and upgrading of domestic industrial structure from three angles: industrial linkage,reverse technology spillover and marginal industry transfer.Secondly,detailed data and charts are used to analyze China’s direct investment in RCEP countries and the change process of domestic industrial structure.Finally,measurement model is constructed based on China’s direct investment data in RCEP countries,domestic industrial structure rationalization index and advanced index.Using ADF test,cointegration test,Granger causality test,impulse response function analysis and other measurement methods,this paper empirically analyzes the impact of direct investment in RCEP on the optimization and upgrading of domestic industrial structure.Through empirical analysis,it is found that China’s direct investment in RCEP countries can improve the rationalization level of domestic industrial structure,but has no significant impact on the upgrading of industrial structure.Comprehensive theoretical research and empirical test results,this thesis suggested that our country should seize the development opportunity brought by RCEP signed,active investment in the host country local society,at the same time,to constantly optimize the industrial layout,improve the independent innovation ability,to better play to the RCEP other members of the direct investment of domestic industrial structure optimization promotes,We will rationalize and upgrade the industrial structure.
