Retail business is a industry for the people’s livelihood, it has closelyrelationships with the prosperity and recession of the national economy. Within morethan20years’ rapid economic grows, Chinese retail business with an annual growthrate of7%has become the world ’s fastest growing country. The retail industry is fullof opportunities and challenges, is one of the most crucial aspect of futuredevelopment for Chinese economic. Over the years, we chinese retail sector hasachieved great development, especially the China’s chain stores. However, comparedto foreign supermarket chains, our supermarkets has big distance in scale, benefit,strength and so on. Therefore, analysis of the status and problems of Chinesesupermarket chain, research the strategic development of Chinese supermarkets andthe corresponding measures, and continuously improve the economic benefits of ourcountry supermarket, it has great practical significance to the supermarket chains inChina.The article pay on the development course, current situation, industrial selection,management level and so on of Hin Tyrone supermarket chain, and comparativeanalysis with foreign retail enterprises, to find out the main problems existing in theprocess or gapbetween the Chinese and foreign retail chain in the development, tosolve the small in scale, bad competitiveness and poor control of resourcesmanagement condition in most of our chain retail enterprises. These strategiesprovide marketing management ideas from different angles for the company, theeffective implementation of the strategy can help the company to accurately graspthe opportunity, seize the marketing commanding point, and further expand thecompetitive advantage and marketing share, increase the profit of the company,provide necessary conditions for the company’s further development.The research on Chinese retail industry has the important practical significanceto promote the development of China’s retail industry. The results of this study willgive the development and growth of Chinese retail industry one useful support.
