Family business as a widespread form of organization plays an irreplaceable rolein China’s economic development. Family business is facing a series of developmentproblems with growing by30years of reform and opening up. From the perspectiveof the corporate life cycle, family business is inevitable experience constantly heritage.How to cross the "rich, but three generations" is an important problem for familybusiness which is in the family business heritage.The first chapter pointed out the significance and the research goal, carried onthe analysis to the domestic and foreign of family business intergenerationaltransmission, the research ideas and methods in this thesis; defined the content offamily business and intergenerational transmission, analyzed the mode, timing andimpact factors of intergenerational transmission, discussed the impact from thetraditional Chinese culture to intergenerational transmission of family business;leaded the intergenerational transmission problems by introducing TW Company’sbasic situation, pointed out the father-to-son succession is the first choice to TWcompany’s heritage by analyzing the internal heritage environment and externalfactors; the article discussed the preparation work in the three stages ofintergenerational transmission, in the preparation stage, the manager should clear thewillingness of entrepreneurs and heir’s inheritance, the plan of inheritance; in theformal inheritance stage, the manager should strengthen the cultivation of the heir,evaluate the candidate objectively and select the final heir, at the same time themanager also should to think the construction of new management team; in theevaluation and planning stage after inheritance, the manager should evaluateinheritor’s performance, think about the future of the company developmentstrategy and make appropriate arrange venture patriarch properly. In the end of thearticle, the author pointed out in order to ensure the intergenerational inheritancesmoothly, the incumbent should adjust and control good ownership structure,complete the human resources reserves and establish founder exit mechanism; theinheritor should inherit and remodeling enterprise culture, coordinate the relationshipbetween stakeholders properly, fight for the attitude of other family members.Intergenerational inheritance research is a new area. The author hope through thisarticle can provided the theory instruction for TW company’s intergenerational inheritance practice; on the other hand provided the information and reference forother family enterprise inheritance practice.
