Research On Dynamic Capabilities Of Container Transport Enterprises

Dynamic capabilities are a kind of capability which prompted enterprises tointegrate own resources in order to adapt to the complex and changeful environment.Its main purpose is to make enterprises gain competitive advantage in turbulentenvironment. With social economy quickly developing, high uncertainty of thepeople’s demands led to the uncertainty of container transport enterprises’ supply ofgoods, and container transport enterprises have to face the more complex andchangeful environment. To adapt to environmental change, container transportenterprises must integrate resources. But the method of integrating resources to gaincompetitive advantage is just the core idea of dynamic capability research. Soresearching dynamic capabilities of container transport enterprises is very meaningfulfor gaining competitive advantage in ultra competitive environment. The paperresearches dynamic capabilities of container transport enterprises and the maincontents are the following aspects.First, the paper finished related researches of dynamic capabilities and containertransport. Finish literature review in the development, connotation definition, stratumand characteristic, research dimensions and research perspective of dynamiccapabilities and route selection, transportation cost and so on of container transportaspects. It provided theoretical basis for later researches.Secondly, we combined with related literature collection of dynamic capabilitiesand their characteristics of container transport enterprises and defined the connotationof dynamic capabilities on container transport enterprises. Three dimensions, such asenvironmental perception, information absorption and resource integration, of dynamiccapabilities of container transport enterprises are proposed, and I constructed structuralanalysis framework of dynamic capabilities.Thirdly, the paper devised a scale which contains three dimensions of11itemsbased on Likert scale, and completed the related data collection through the form ofquestionnaire. This paper used the factor analysis to finish the statistical analysis ofthese questionnaires and verified above structural analysis mode. The analytical resultshows that dynamic capability dimensions of container transport enterprises whichcomprises above three dimensions is reasonable.Then, the paper used the above mode of dynamic capabilities to analysis dynamic capabilities of Chang an Min sheng, and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation to evaluateits dynamic capabilities through the questionnaires.Finally, according to the research of dynamic capabilities on container transportenterprises the paper proposed cultivating strategies in14aspects based on3researchdimensions of dynamic capabilities and enterprise flexible. We hope that thesecultivating strategies can help container transport enterprises to develop and perfecttheir dynamic capabilities to a certain extent.
