With the improvement of domestic economy and people’s income level, people’s wealth is increasing. But the domestic economy is still facing many practical problems, such as the economic environment is not stable, inflation rate continues to rise, and trends of the ageing of the population is increasing, in order to preserve the value of wealth people start looking for investment channels. With the demand increasing, the financial industry has ushered in an unknown opportunity. Since2003, the third party financial companies have a rapid growth, and up to now there have been thousands of third party financial institutions. The appearance of third party financial company, not only expands people’s financial channels, but also improves the service quality of financial industry. However, the rapid development of the third party financing has also produced a series of problems, such as the regulation is not in place, the market disorderly competition, and lack of financial management personnel. The effects of these problems restrict the third party financial institutions from sustainable and healthy development in China, it is necessary to study to solve them.This paper researches on the development of the third party financing of China, using SWOT analysis to comb the development of the domestic third party financing, focusing on the problems and their causes, learning the mature experience from the United States and Japan, proposing the advice and countermeasures of the development of domestic third party financing. In a word, we hope that through the study of third party financial development, it improves our understanding of the third party financing, and promotes the development of the third party financing long-term.
