A Study On The JQ Logistics Company Development Strategy Of Third-party Logistic

With in the trend of economic globalization, the Yangtze River Delta has become the center of manufacturing industry. Hence, the modern logistic industry is developing rapidly. The demand for logistic service is surging as well as the request of enterprises for higher level of logistic and better service. International logistic companies that have years of supply management experience have flowed into this area. Every logistic company in this area has to face intense competition. In this article, we are going to discuss Company JQ, as a logistic company providing warehousing service for manufacturing industry, discovering the measures they took to develop in competition and the services they provided as a third party logistic company.In this article we will first discuss the introduction of third party logistic as well as the related fundamental theories of strategy and enterprise management.Following this, using JQ, the company that I'm working with as target of study, we will analyze its inside and outside environment. Outside analysis includes PEST of outside macro-environment, threats and opportunities that are in front of JQ; inside analysis is consist of company conditions, organization structure, human resources, business model, financial stands and company information system. Based on this, this article also looked into the problems of JQ, the advantage and disadvantage of third party logistic, the need to develop third party logistic.Then, using the tool of SWOT, the strategy analysis is carried out for JQ's third party logistic to find its position in Shanghai and all over the country. To realize this, positioning strategy and specific strategy for third party logistic companies must be put forward and carried out.Last but not the least, focusing in the development plan of third party logistic, suggestions of actions are listed in this article for adjustment of organization structure, business processing, creative business module, resource combination, service network built-up, IT system and HR motivation.
