Research On Regional Financial Development Difference In Bohai From Financial Geography View

Finance is the core of modern market economy, and it has become the main force of the regional economic development. The economy of China is made up of many regional economies which have a certain space range. Since the reform and opening up, the development strategy of our country is different in some regions, and it makes the regional economic policy dependency. There are distinct differences between every regional economic development. Many scholars also focus on the issue of regional financial development imbalance. Because of the different resource distribution in all areas, the whole area and the internal cities are different in the financial development. Therefore, this paper mainly takes the regional financial development as the research object, reveals the problems existing the regional financial development, change rule and spatial differences. It provides the basis for the reasonable allocation of financial resources, and then narrow the gap in the different space.The last is to promote the industry structure upgrading, and realize the sustainable development and provide the necessary financial support for the regional economic growth.This paper is based on the financial geography and combines with the existing research achievements of scholars. From the perspective of spatial difference, this paper carries on the comprehensive analysis of the environment, the total amount, structure and efficiency in Bohai rim regional financial development. By the way of comparing the relative financial development indicators of every provinces and different regions, this paper explores the differences and its causes in the process of regional financial development. At the same time, this paper builds a relevant index system, and uses the principal component analysis, DEA model and Eviews tools to analysis the competitiveness, efficiency and economic relevance problem of the regional financial development. And then reflect the Bohai rim regional financial development level and space differences comprehensively.First, this paper reviews and combines the existing theory and research results of the regional financial and its development. In this part, defining the meaning of regional finance and regional financial development, while briefly introducing the theory of financial geography, they all lay a theoretical basis for the later analysis of the differences of Bohai rim regional financial development.Secondly, based on the study angle of special difference according to financial geography, from four aspect:the financial ecological environment, the total amount of financial development, financial structure and financial efficiency, the paper makes an horizontal and vertical comparative analysis about differences of financial development situation in Bohai region including Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Liaoning and Shandong. And it describes the discrepancies of the whole financial development level among Bohai region, Yangtse River Delta Economy Zone, and the Pearl River Delta Economic Zone, as well as the gap between it and the national average level. This research method gives sufficient consideration to geospatial distribution differences of the financial and economic resource, and it is easier to reflect the level of regional financial development comprehensively, to reveal the problems existing in the financial development, and to put forward relevant policy suggestions.Thirdly, the paper constructs index system to evaluate financial competitive force and the efficiency of finance according to certain principles. Applying PCA, DEA model and Malmquist production efficiency Index, it makes empirical analyses about financial competition and efficiency respectively on the Bohai region. The results suggest that although there is obvious gap concerning the financial strength of different provinces and cities, with the constant improvement of the regional economic strength, the expansion of the scale of financial development, the regional overall financial competitive power and efficiency level have been improving. At the same time, the paper uses Eviews to analyze and verify the positive role of Bohai regional financial development in promoting regional Marine economy.Finally, based on the analysis of the research and the empirical results, the thesis comes to the conclusion about the differences of financial development issues in Bohai region, and then puts forward pertinent suggestions, to promote the harmony and sustainable development of this regional finance.
