In order to reverse the current situation of unhealthy management. Part of the enterprise began to pay attention to the cost of the project construction management mode. This paper is based upon the current operating conditions of the electric power constructional industry, focusing on the research and discussion of project cost control methods, leading to the project cost can be effectively controlled.This paper analyses the present cost control situation of SBD company project, analysis in-depth the existing management problems. And summarize that the key of these problems is the lack of a systematic research on the cost control. Project cost control is lack of the necessary theory and methods. Thus, combined with the characteristics of electric power engineering, this paper put forward a cost management mode to meet the company’s development. The study mainly for the control of the material cost and optimization of policy processing cost, and according to the extremely strict time requirement in electric power project, this paper introduces the concept of time-cost combination control, in order to achieve the cost control, use the synthetical control between duration and cost. Thus the company can be established in the development on the worsening external environment.Finally, using the research production of time-cost combination control to analyze in the SBD"s project under construction, this paper propose the fault this project encountered and improvement measures, evaluating the effect of operation, and suggest that project should be more closely combined with information technology of the network. Depending on the analysis and calculation of computer we can improve the overall project analysis ability, and increase the company’s overall competitive strength more effectively.
