Research On The Key Factors Of The Conversion Of Scientific And Technological Achievements

With the development of the economic globalization, the innovative scientific andtechnological achievements have shown its great influence on the economic and socialdevelopment. The great influence has been closely related to economic development andsocial progress, and it is also very significant to the whole country and the people’s safety.However, the innovative science and technological achievements can only be converted torealize its market and social value through industrialization. Therefore, the conversion andcommercialization of the innovative science and technological achievements has always beenpaid great attention to. In recent years, even though the development of innovation scienceand technology has become an important part in promoting our economic development in ourcountry, the conversion rate has been relatively low and much lower than those westerndeveloped countries for a long time, which, thereby, has been a bottleneck for the scientificand technological development.This paper has an overall understanding and research on the concept of and the factorsthat influencing the conversion of scientific and technological achievements by case study.Several typical fire fighting enterprises have carefully selected and toughly researched. First,some research has been done to get information about the current situations about theconversion of scientific and technological achievements in the field of fire fighting. Then, aseries of interviews have been conducted, respectively towards three parts, the mid-levelleaders of the enterprises, the base-level staff doing research on the fire-fighting scientific andtechnological products, and some cooperated colleges and universities. By doing qualitative analysis, the proposition has been get, and then the model has been established, and at last theconclusion has been made.This paper has drawn a conclusion: four independent variables have positive influenceson the conversion of the innovative scientific and technological achievements. They are: theforecast profit values of the enterprises, the scientific research strength of the colleges,universities and research institutions, the strength of the government regulation and support,and the marker environment. Four variables have played a role as adjusting: transformationalleadership, fair distribution of interest, the ability of intermediary organs and the maturity ofthe scientific and technological achievements.
