The group of migrant workers is very prominent in the labor force of China,and playsan important role not only in the enterprise operation,but also in the national economy.While because of lacking of education and can be replaced easily,migrant workers arealways in an inferior position,and they are disregarded by the enterprises and cities. Inmany enterprises’ mind,the supply exceeds the demand in the labor market,many peopleare looking for new jobs,and migrant workers are regarded as cheap resources. In therecognition and support of agriculture,rural area,farmers,as well as the migrant workersare divided into two different parts and the shortage of migrant workers,strains are alreadyshowing in the labor market,many enterprises transform the idea and pay attention to thisgroup,they need to find new ways to attract and encourage the migrant workers.New generation of migrant workers is a new group appears recently. On one side,thenew generation and the old generation are similar in many respects,most of them workwithout high technology content,and in lower social levels,they work in the city but can’tlive as city people. On the other side,the new generation has many different characteristics,such as higher education degree,higher work expectations,caring more about the spirituallife. Traditional management and motivating method can’t achieve the desired effects for thenew generation. Enterprises should manage the new generation and should take moretargeted actions when managing and motivating them.This paper focuses on the new generation of migrant workers. At the beginning,weneed to study the characteristics of the new generation by analyzing documentary andinvestigation. In addition,summarize and conclude the existing problems in the incentive onthe basis of other people’s research fruit. What’s more,adopt questionnaire investigation ofthe old generation and the new one to know the stimulation factors which the newgeneration focus on,in order to get clearly results,we also use the method of interview. Atlast,put forward the relevant measures based on the problems which are summarized in thelast chapter,by this way,hope this paper can provide some experiences for the enterprisesto help them keep and encourage the new generation of migrant workers.
