While collective forest tenure reform obtains some good results, it also creates somephenomenon that farmers can not adapt to the development of market economy. In order toreduce production costs, to circumvent the market risk, and to achieve the optimal allocationof forest resources and the scale effect, forestry professional cooperative organizations cameinto being. Overall, the development level of Chinese forestry professional cooperativeorganization is not high, and the forestry professional cooperative organization participationrate is at a low level. To explore the perceptions of farmers of forestry professionalcooperative organizations can easily find the existing problems of forestry professionalcooperative organizations, and then find out the relevant measures according to the problems. At last, we can create some forestry professional cooperative organizations with Chinesecharacteristics, which mean better service, more increasing income for the forest farmers. Therefore, based on the basic principle of social cognitive theory, theory of collectivebehavior and results of domestic and foreign research, this study designs some indicators thataffect farmers’ perceptions of forestry professional cooperative organizations. And theseindicators include farmers’ characteristics, foresters’ family characteristics of production andoperation characteristics and the external environment characteristics. Then we design thequestionnaire, and chose part of townships in Ningshan County of Shaanxi province as theresearch location. Through on-the-spot survey, we investigate forestry farmers on perceptionsof forestry professional cooperative organizations. At last,105effective questionnaires wereobtained. Then, through the test of reliability and validity to the original survey data, we getrid of four insignificant factors, which are forest area of family, forest type, forest asset typesof households planting, fluctuation of product price and difficulties of production. Then, byusing SPSS software, this paper uses factor analysis to analysis of the perceptions of farmersof forestry professional cooperative organizations. At last, by using AMOS17.0software, thispaper establishes structural equation model. After fitting and modifying the structuralequation model, we get the key factors affecting forest farmers’ perceptions. We find thatforest farmers’ characteristics, foresters’ family characteristics of production and operation characteristics and the external environment characteristics all have a positive impact onforest farmers’ perceptions, among which, forest farmers’ characteristics works throughforesters’ family characteristics of production and operation characteristics. And externalenvironment characteristics have the most important influence on forest farmers’ perceptions.Based on the above analysis, this paper put forward some effective policy suggestions, whichcan be referenced by the departments.
