Dea-based Analysis And Evaluation Of Developing Cloud Computing In Internet Companies

The emergence of internet has been changing the traditional understanding of space and time, flattening the world and shortening the time of message passing, which also gave rise to a revolution of business patterns. With the increasing development of and constant mutual promotion between information technology and the corresponding demand, cloud computing, the Internet of Things, artificial intelligence, etc. have all appeared. Cloud computing has gradually become the hottest trend in IT technology, which, as one of the newly developed strategic industry of great importance, brings about a deep revolution of innovation pattern and both opportunities and challenges that internet companies never had for their development. Under such circumstances, internet giants like Amazon, Google, etc. have all been actively designing their strategies for developing cloud computing, with which they hope to encourage company progress.The key for internet companies to share and enjoy the benefits of cloud computing lies in effective strategies for long term development, which requires scientific models of strategy management and an innovative system for strategy analysis, selection, employment, assessment, and improvement.This paper presents the background and importance of the study with an in-depth research on the scope of both cloud computing and internet companies as well as enterprise strategy theory. The current development of cloud computing is thoroughly analyzed and the feasible strategic goal of cloud computing in internet companies is reasonably identified. PEST and SWOT analysis, Grey estimation for financial prediction, etc. are jointly exploited in the study, which explores the analysis, identification and selection of strategies of developing cloud computing in internet companies. Based on the classic C2R model and improved BC2model of DEA, an evaluation system is established, which is suitable for strategies of developing cloud computing in internet companies. The paper ends itself with the example of Google, whose strategies are evaluated with DEA and for which advices of improvement are provided according to the effectiveness and scale profits.
