The Correlation Study Between Foreign Direct Investment In Liaoning And Liaoning’s Foreign Trade

Liaoning Province is the important positions in the economic development of ourcountry’s provinces, since the reform and opening up (especially the90’s of last century),into the Liaoning Province’s total FDI mass growth, Liaoning Province’s foreign tradescale is also expanding rapidly at the same time. Then how much is the influence offoreign direct investment on Liaoning Province’s foreign trade? This paper takesLiaoning Province as a concrete research object, tries to make in-depth analysis on thecorrelation between the economic phenomenon, the research method of the combinationof theoretical analysis and empirical analysis, qualitative analysis and quantitativeanalysis.First proposed in this paper to study the problem, clarify the mainstream theory ofmutual influence of FDI and international trade, etc. At the same time, to attract foreigninvestment and development of foreign trade in Liaoning Province were summarized.Secondly, using the comprehensive data of foreign trade and foreign direct investment,together with the econometrics method, to test the correlation between the growth of FDIin Liaoning Province and the total volume of foreign trade growth, namely betweenforeign direct investment and foreign trade of Liaoning Province is a positive correlation.Again, the use of data and diagrams demonstrated the promoting effects of FDI onLiaoning foreign trade structure optimization from the aspects of trade commoditystructure, trade structure in Liaoning province. Finally, this paper points out the existingin the process of promoting the development of foreign trade in Liaoning province at thepresent stage of foreign-funded enterprises according to the conclusion of the study, andhow to play FDI trade promotion effect and to put forward a series of policies of realisticsignificance.Based on the quantitative and qualitative analysis, the main conclusion is: foreigndirect investment in Liaoning Province promote the role of foreign trade, the promotingeffect of it is more on the promotion of exports, which is related to the foreign trade inLiaoning Province and the economic structure. Therefore, with the use of foreign directinvestment on import and export trade promotion perspective, we should strengthen the Chinese-funded enterprises study and absorption of foreign capital source diversificationin the aspects from the expansion of cluster effect, determine the direction of foreigninvestment and policy guidance, to promote mutual improvements.
