What’s more, the stability of the whole power grid requires stricter level of the facility maintenance.The reliable quality and stability is the foundation of electricity supply system, but only the sustainable use of the facility and the ability to deal with an emergency can guarantee people’s needs of daily life and production.This paper takes the power company in Shangqiu for example. I’ll talk about the maintenance of substation equipment and its current development status, and analyses the extensive existing problems in the power supply units. Further study about condition based maintenance is based on the modes of equipment maintenance. The feasibility and necessarily of this operation is the result of experiments. This paper revolves about the schedule proposed by the Shangqiu Power Company on facility maintenance. After analyzing in general and in detail, the preparation, design and implement of the maintenance of substation equipment can tell us how it works and the problems in this process. We can analyze the potential trouble in positions and management. We can conclude many practical and valuable methods for Shangqiu Power Company.This paper introduces many achievements in the state maintenance test of some sections of Shangqiu Power Company. In the experimental area, the implementation of condition-based maintenance successfully reduced the required overhaul time and substantially increased the reliability of the equipment, so the benefit of the equipment is greatly increased.
