Study On The Evaluation Of Land Use Efficiency Of Tacheng In Xinjiang

Since ancient times land as one of the most important means of the most human’s production has beenthe subject of human attention, at the same time, the land witnessed the progress and development ofhuman civilization. Changes of land resources quantity relatively maybe is less, but the utilization andefficiency of land resource use is constantly changing. With the worldwide use of land resources is moreand more high efficiency in the worldwide, the contradictions and problems in the process of land useincrease gradually. From China especially in Xinjiang, the main way of land use is extensive. Itsconnotation has larger development space and the efficiency of land use is low.There are a lot of idle landin some areas, which is a great waste of land resources. How to improve the land use efficiency is the keycontent of land in scientific research.The paper synthesized the research literature and taked Tacheng in Xinjiang as an empirical analysiswhich is based on the related concepts and theory of the efficiency evaluation of land use. The main contentof the article is divided into four parts.The first part is the background, the status at home and abroad of theresearch and the related theory.The second part focused on the analysis of present situation of Tacheng’sland use, which included the analysis of quantity, quality, distribution, dynamic change of land use inTacheng.According to the principle of efficiency evaluation of land use,the third partconstructed indexsystem of land use efficiency evaluation taking Tacheng as an example. It used the method of indexevaluation and analysis land utilizing economic efficiency, social efficiency,ecological efficiency ofTacheng comparatively and synthetically during the period of2001-2009.The last part which is based onthe evaluation results put forward some comprehensive measures to optimize the benefit of land use.Forpromoting the efficiency of land use in Tacheng, there are something must be done: improving the land usestructure optimization with schematization;paying attention to the ecological environment improving theregulations and policy management of land use; increase the investment of land utilization.
