The history of lithium-ion battery industry in china is only a fewyears, but it develops very quickly. In2012, Chinas produced nearly4billionlithium-ion batteries. In the world lithium-ion battery market, China, Japan and SouthKorea are the main place of production, but overall, Chinas lithium-ion batteryindustry is small and weak than Japan or South Korea. The technology of Chinaslithium-ion battery industry was come from foreign mature technology. At first, thetechnological innovation of china’s lithium-ion battery is more about technics. Inrecent years, there are more technological innovation because of continued invest ininnovation. Even there are some technique advantages in some field. In this paperwe study the technology innovation of china’s lithium-ion battery from three levels.At first, at the enterprise level: lacking of technology innovation talent, especially thehigh-end talent, the enterprise didn’t like to do more technical innovation, and theefficiency of the technology innovation system is poor. Second, at the industry level:The market structure of Chinas lithium-ion battery industry is dispersed and the basicresearch is not enough. Third, the technology environment of all country: Chinasoverall environment of technical innovation is restricting the technology innovationof lithium-ion battery industry.Therefore, in order to improve the capacity of china’slithium-ion battery industry technological innovation, we need to do more. At first,modify the management mode of enterprise technology innovation system toimprove its efficiency. Second, strengthen cooperation and integration in lithium-ion battery industry and upgrade the industry technology innovation ability. Third, weneed to do more to improve our country’s innovation ability and it’s important forthe lithium-ion battery industry technology innovation.
