In recent years, with the development of economic globalization and integration, international business has developed energetically, number of import and export enterprises has been increased, and the cross-border flow of funds has brought the new bank profit growth point along with its "going out" and "bringing in" trading behavior. Commercial banks treat the international business income as a new growth point in the process of development, which is conducive to get the intermediate business income, to drive a powerful marketing for the foreign currency linkage marketing, to expand customer base. This is a powerful means to improve their competitiveness and influence of banks. However, Inner Mongolia is located in the western region of China, where the economy is weak. The development of international business inherently can not be compared with the coastal cities or developed center. The amount of international businesses and related business varieties are much smaller than the economically developed areas, and the speed of its development is also far behind. At the same time we should find the Inner Mongolia region, such as border trade have the advantages; and we should give full play to regional advantages and policy advantages, which requires to propose suitable thinking strategy according to regional characteristics and the development situation to guide the development of the international business.Bank of Communications Inner Mongolia autonomous region branch was established in July2006, which treats company business, international business and provincial branch as major businesses in order to support the its development in past six years. From2009, the Bank of Communications proposed the development strategy of "going international and integrated road and building first-class public Bank Group which is featured with wealth management "and "two of his party ". It has even elevated to the development of international business to strategic height. In this paper, we recognize the strengths and weaknesses of the international business development of Bank of Communications Inner Mongolia autonomous region branch and the fact that we cannot compared with the four state-owned banks with the establishment of only five years under international business strategy environmental analysis and strategy ability analysis. At the same time we should make full use of the policy advantages, actively participate in the pilot new business, and attract new customers to enhance market share.In this paper, we analyze the international business of Bank of Communications in face of challenges and opportunities. From the external analysis to find the strengths and weaknesses of market competition and internal analysis to find the advantages and disadvantages of international business of Bank of Communications, we could conclude the future strategy of international business of Bank of Communications Inner Mongolia autonomous region branch which is the development road of "customer-centric, market-oriented, and profit-goal-settled". We could also confirm the development strategy of expanding customers, marketing positively, innovating actively, publicizing products, controlling risk, and cultivating talents. Based on research and analysis, we conclude the specific measures of competition strategy of international business of Bank of Communications.
