| With the development of e-business, the express delivery services have greatly increased in our country, which brings great opportunity for the development of Chinese delivery industry. The business volume of Chinese express delivery market continues to increment, and the private express delivery enterprises have been an important part of express service by dint of its economical and reasonable price and flexible business mode. For the private express delivery enterprises, they must learn to how to face the competition press from domestic and foreign express enterprises, and learn to solve the problems.This article uses literature review method, the questionnaire method, quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis and other research methods. Based on the previous theoretical studies, the article analyzes the course of the development of the private express delivery market, the development status of it and the operational characteristics of the major private express delivery companies. And it analyzes the impaction of "Taobao" to the private express delivery companies. This article chooses "Taobao merchants"-the unique express consumer group as the object of the research, according to the survey results and the analysis, this paper provides some solutions to the development of the private express companies.According to the findings obtained by statistical analysis, the choice of the private express companies will be affected by the business characteristics of private express delivery companies, the types of "Taobao merchants", the grade of "Taobao merchants" and Taobao buyers. Through the investigation, we find many problems on the service of private express delivery enterprises. The problem mainly concentrates on the low service quality and the lack of effective problem solving skills. The enterprises should divide Taobao merchants into different segments, and provide different services for different market segments. To the clothing and daily class merchants, they should improve network coverage, extend the scope of the express and establish the cooperation of nearby self-employed. To the digital products merchants, they should open up valuables dedicated channel to improve the speed and security of express deliveries. To the lower grade merchants, they should improve the convenience of its delivery. To the higher grade merchants, they should provide different prices according to the shipment, and sign long-term contract with them. At the same time, private express delivery companies should improve the quality of front-line delivery staff; strengthen the ability to deal with the problem; improve the compensation mechanism; improve the management system and the management level; focus on the application of IT. |
