The Study On Layout Optimization Of Rural Settlement Based On Gis

Maqiao, Jingjiang is located in the middle of Jiangsu Province. It is a plain area along the Yangtze River. This region is plenty of river and is traditionally called the land of plenty. Most of the rural settlements are along the river and block scattered. These settlements are of low level of residential land intensive use. With the accelerated pace of economic development, cities and towns of the radiation effect is strengthened gradually and economy in rural areas developed rapidly. The speeding up of the process of urban and rural integration is a distinctive feature of the development of Maqiao rural settlements. Thus more and more factors need to be considered in the study of rural settlements, such as natural environment, socio-economy, infrastructure and residents’ ideology and other factors. Topography, climate, resources and other factors have been the constraints of the spatial form of the village-based natural conditions. And socio-economic factors can be summarized as location factors, traffic conditions, economic development and infrastructure conditions. The layout of the rural settlements need to adapt to the changing of socio-economic factors. The cultural practices and lifestyle changes of residents not only affect the implement of the reconstruction of rural settlements layout, but also have a decisive influence on the layout of the internal structure of rural settlements to a certain degree.This thesis studies into the details of the layout optimization theories of rural settlements. According to the land use data of Maqiao, Jingjiang in2010, this thesis analyzes the characteristics of the status quo of the structure of the situation and the status of the rural settlements on the Maqiao land use distribution, points out its characteristic of strip distribution along the river and, the small scale of the administrative villages On this basis, through the data management and spatial analysis capability of ArcGIS, combining with the investigation and statistics the socio-economic data of Maqiao, taking the influencing factors of the various aspects into consideration, selecting evaluation indicators of the development of rural settlements, establishing the evaluation model, calculating an integrated evaluation result of rural settlement development, the layout optimization have some data support.In the days of the rapid development of urban and rural integration, sorting the settlements, saving and intensive use of land, the formation of the accumulation of resources and economic factors is the trend of sustainable use of land resources. According to village planning standards, this thesis estimates the theory-intensive potential of Maqiao rural settlements analyze its realistic potential.On the basis of the above research and analysis, we describe the layout of the present characteristics of rural residents. In order to facilitate the analysis, using the regional spatial-grid method in Maqiao and the analysis of transportation routes, we initially select ’center village’from the perspective of spatial location of the position. After the combination of evaluation results of rural settlement developments, we select the’ center village’with the advantageous location, identified the southern group centered with Ma Qiao neighborhood, northeast group centered with Hou He Village and north-western group centered with San Ai Village.And making the division according to the types of rural residents, we build the three-level administrative division system-the Maqiao center village-the administrative village. Followed by a targeted analysis of the status quo level of development of the rural settlements, recommendations are made on the development of the various types of rural residents and the regional groups, industry direction.The last part of this study points out the deficiency of this research. And this part put forward proposals from five aspects:strengthening the Government promotion and accelerating the formulation of relevant policies, the scientific planning of town and the layout coordinating of rural settlements, positive rural settlement land consolidation, improving the resettlement program to protect the legitimate interests of the masses.
