With the continuous growth of high speed rail lines in our country, the improvement of the speed, large quantity of High-speed EMU putting into service, the operating safety becomes the focus of attention. The safety of high speed rail operating is a very complex system. It covers the subject of line, powering, signal, engineering works and rolling stock etc. It requires numbers of departments working cooperated with each other. Under this background, the paper takes SF Company as research object, which is the most influential High-speed EMU manufacturer in our country. MRO management is taken as content for study since it is one of the most significant mobile equipment which affected the safety of high speed rail operating. This paper makes an in-depth analysis of the difference between MRO of High-speed EMU at home and abroad. In terms of present situation of high speed railway management, technology and human resource in China, based on current core resource and capability of SF company, making a breakthrough in the existing issues for MRO of EMU, the management system has been built preliminarily. The system is focus on structure construction of MRO, optimizing of management process, technical supporting, quality control and information assurance. It presents an integrated solution that incorporated foreign experience and high speed railway operating environment in ChinaThe paper covers the following6sections.Section1states briefly the background and meaning of the study for MRO management system used on High-speed EMU in China. And summaries the research content and method in this paper.Section2introduces concisely the current situation and development of MRO management of EMU in SF Company.Section3compares with the difference of MRO used on High-speed EMU at home and abroad, and analyses the issues of MRO management in the country in depth. In terms of the management characteristic and enterprise resource for SF Company, taking addressing existing problems as a breakthrough, it presents lots of referential experience.Section4introduces the fundamental architecture of MRO management system of EMU in SF Company in detail.Section5describes the information system function of MRO management system for EMU in SF Company, makes an in-depth introduction to management institutionalization, system streamlining and process inforrnationization, that is the essence of MRO management system.Section6makes a summary of phased achievement that gained in the process of building MRO management system of EMU.
