Salesmen who in home appliances industry are the bridge of the communication between customers and company, because they directly face the customers, their personnel quality and service qualities have a great impact on customers’ satisfaction and loyalty. Owning to the characteristics of their job, salesmen who in home appliances industry always have time and energy distribution problems, plus the pressure from sales job, their family conflict phenomenon is particularly serious. Good balance between work and family will not only conducive to maintaining the salesmen’s physical and mental health, but also has tremendous simulative effect to improve their enthusiasm, work efficiency and work satisfaction. Therefore, the balance not only has its own particularity, but also very important.The research methods of the research are theoretical research and empirical research, quantitative research and qualitative research methods. The innovation of this research on the work demand measuring increased" the monthly average travel time"; the harmonious family relations theory as the basic theoretical basis; from the organization, family, individual three angle put forward to balance the work and family relation.This paper is divided into five parts. The first chapter is the introduction, introduced the background of this research, the research purpose and significance, the main research contents and research methods. The second chapter is the definition of related concepts, explains the relevant theories, literature review at home and abroad. The third chapter is the research design, the impact factor determining of the balance between salesmen’s work and their families, working family balance outcome variables, demographic variables and salesmen’s family demand variable selection. The fourth chapter is the empirical research. In this part the salesmen who sale home appliance industry in Shandong Province have been chosen as the research object of the questionnaire. And the statistical analysis of data obtained the following results:the impact factor of the balance between salesmen’s work and their families; whether different demographic variables have significant differences in the balance; whether job involvement, job satisfaction, and affective commitment are the predictor variables factors of the balance. The fifth chapter is the conclusion, based on the research above the management of salesmen’s balance between work and family, and pointed out the limitations and future research prospects of this study.The conclusion of this research:1salesmen who in home appliances industry from4city in Shandong province are facing big working demand, the monthly average travelling time is12.7days,83%of the home appliances industry salesmen’s weekly working time is more than40hours; their family responsibility is also larger,71%of them at least have to take the responsibility of taking care of the elderly and child care in the family;2the home appliances industry salesmen’s cognition of the balance between work and their own families is in the neutral attitude, for the individual that maintain the balance is easier also neutral;3some of the different demographic variables of the home appliances industry salesmen in the balance have significant influence.4the balance is positively related to job involvement, job satisfaction, and affective commitment;5the balance is the predictor variable of job involvement and job satisfaction. According to the conclusions of this study we obtained the work family balance countermeasures and suggestions from organizational perspective, individual and family perspective.
