The HW Company Corporate Development Strategy

Welding machine was recognized as the sewing machine on iron in the areas of industrialproduction, its products manufactured by the welding machine are widely used in the varioussub-sectors of the industrial field。From the metal processing to the automobile manufacturingand from the the railway built to the ship construction, all of above are inseparable from thewelding technology and the welding equipment. Today, China’s welding industry is experiencingthe technical upgrading the historical transition period, from old-fashioned silicon-controlledwelding machine to the inverter IGBT industrial welder. Some old welding machine factories arebeing out of the competition due to the behind technology,.While the others of the emergingwelding companies which always put the technology research and the factory developing as thecompany’s core competitiveness, is trying to grow up rapidly and to expand the brand, such asHW company.In this paper, we study the HW company’s corporate development strategy through thetheory and the practice. Firstly, we research the HW company’s industrial the externalenvironment, such as the national macro-environment, the industrial competitiveness, and thenwe analyze its own internal resources and its capacity conditions,under the guidance of relevantthe theory of the Strategic Management. We find out threats and opportunities of the enerprise inthe external environment, and grasped disadvantages and advantages of the internal conditions.Then, the HW company wasdetermined toadopt a cost leadership strategy in the enterprisestart-up period. Develpoing some times, it can be taken the differential strategy as the long-termstrategy. At the same time, the company’s Functional strategies of the relevant departments wasmade further clear. Finally, the paper also proposed measures and specific recommendations forthe enterprise developing strategy to ensure the implementation of enterprise developmentstrategies.In this paper,we used some methods of the strategic management analysis, as the PESTanalysis, the Porter’s Five Forces Model and the SWOT matrix analysis. Through drawn up thethe enterprise’s developing strategies and specific implementation plan, we can ultimatelyenhance their competitionand aprove their Comprehensive strength. This article can provide areference for the HW company’s developing strategy for the future, as well as the othermanufacturing enterprises in the Industrial area.
