A bank is a state-owned public shareholding bank. It has gone through national specializedbank, wholly state-funded commercial bank and state-owned commercial bank in differentdevelopment stages. A bank branches are widely distributed with large customer servicegroups,the counter business processes critical to the design. Exchange range of financial servicesin the context of the global economic and financial integration,as well as China’shouseholdwealth continues to increase,expanding the total amonunt of individual foreign exchangebusiness continued to grow,individual foreign exchange customers gradually increased anddiversified financial needs,personalization,integrationcharacteristics. Personal foreign exchangebusiness as one of the main content of the A bank retail business booming in recent years,butcurrently relying on the use of the technology platform”foreign exchange managementsystem”.The syestem is design mainly for corporate customers account services and existingpricing model under the exchange transaction.,in lack of focus on the particularity of theindividual customers,combined with the exchange transaction dispersion function needs to bestrengthened, the link between business modules and poor personal foreign exchange has not yetformed an independent scientific process.Optimize the transformation of the business processesdirectly affect the counter service levels ande overall development of foreign exchange business.First of all, this paper introduced the research background, research significance andresearch methods used. Secondly, it discussed six sigma theory, the theory of business processreengineering and the process bank theory. Thirdly, based on analysis of operation processthrough the characteristics and current situation of counter services to find problems within Abank’s personal foreign exchange process. AS well as carry out thorough analysis of theseproblems and propose a feasible solution for process. Finally it suggested safeguard measures ofthe implementation phase.This paper has dug into the problem of business process based on literature studies,investigation of the branches and combined with the author’s work itself, to achieve theconclusion that optimize the customer experience,optimize teller operations and optimizemanagement control to start personal foreign exchange business proresee optimization programs,focus on trading optimize process transformation and fully functional. Around the main line todesign a set of personal foreign exchange business optimization program,and to play an activerole in the A bank to carry out foreign exchange business and over the counter business processmanagement.This paper focus on linking theory with practice,professional personal foreign exchangebusiness processes to optimize the transformation program,to play the foundation for the establishment of science and lasting development of individual foreign exchangemechanism.This paper can provide a reference for others as the issues within A bank are typicalfor all commercial banks.
