Facing severe employment situation in recent years, college students’ employment problems more and more are the focus of the society.Entrepreneurial activity not only brought the promoting function of state economy, butalso can solve the employment problems. College students participating in the venturehas become an important measure to solve the difficult employment problem, thereforethe government formulated various kinds of preferential policies to encourage collegestudents to business. But the reality is that the percentage of few college students takingto practical business is little. Therefore, the study of the formation mechanism ofcollege students’ entrepreneurship intention is essential; so as to improve the universitystudent’s pioneering work enthusiasm.Study took theory of planed behavior (TPB) as the foundation of students’entrepreneurship intention formation mechanism research. In order to make the resultsmore scientific, we made an improvement of TPB to make the theory model fit withentrepreneurship research situation, and finally we constructed the model about newstudents’ entrepreneurship intention formation mechanism. First through the analysis ofliterature, we find the corresponding variables in entrepreneurship researches to threevariables in TPB model (attitude, subjective norms and perception behavior control)respectively are entrepreneurial attitude, role models and entrepreneurial self-efficacy,further we constructed the new model, and put forward some assumptions. Then, wemade a questionnaire survey for Harbin technology of institute students as the researchobjects, and finally received644effective questionnaires. Using SPSS17.0software, wetested proposed hypothesis through correlation analysis, factor analysis and regressionanalysis and statistical analysis method, and results showed that the entrepreneurialattitude had a significant positive impact on entrepreneurship intention, and the effect ofrole models to entrepreneurship intention is not significant, also we found thatentrepreneurship self-efficacy played mediated role in this process.
