Comparison Research On Ecological Quality Among Cities In The Yangtze Delta

Today, the world faces all kinds of environmental problems, such as global warming, environmental damage, fewer resources and the ecological unbalance. These problems are the challenges of the sustainable development. Now, humans began think on their own behavior, reflect on and explore the future development direction and the mode. So the way of sustainable development has become the inevitable choice. If China wants to make sustainable development strategy successful, our urban agglomeration must choose sustainable development. In this context, this paper studies on ecological civilization index system of the Yangtze Delta. This paper set up a index system to find out ecological environment issues and seek solutions for the twenty-two cities in the Yangtze Delta.This paper is divided into four parts. The first part is the first chapter, introduces the background of the topic and proposes research topic, determines the research ideas and methods and reviews the research situations about index system of ecological civilization.The second part includes the second to the third chapters. The second chapter briefly introduces the concept of ecological civilization and its development in China. The third chapter introduces Yangtze River delta and its ecological environment and construction of ecological civilization progress. The third part included the fourth to the fifth chapter, which use entropy method to evaluate the index system. The fourth part is the sixth chapter, which summarize the methods and research results in this paper and put forward the improvement measure and future prospects.The data in this paper is from social, economic and environment aspects in2009. This paper uses extreme normalized method to process the data and use Factor analysis method to evaluate.This research conclusion:The22cities in the Yangtze Delta have different lever on ecological civilization construction. Shanghai, Nanjing and Hangzhou have higher score, but the others are lower. Everyone should improve the lever of ecological civilization from ecological economy, the environmental quality, management efficiency and social welfare.
