With the rapid development of railroad transportation, the safety of transportation andthe ability of energy-saving emission reduction are paid more and more attention by people.The engine internal combustion locomotive used diesel for power supply is still widelyused in present railway power structure. Thermal insulation control for locomotive isneeded when parking in cold season to insure the engine start operation smoothly, and inorder to ensure the safety and mobility of internal combustion locomotive to preventaccident happened in the cold for stopping time is too long. So design high efficiency andenergy saving parking insulation control system for internal combustion locomotive underthe condition of low temperature operation is of great significance.The parking insulation system designed by this paper presents the method for heatwater is electric heater, and heating for diesel and lubricating oil is through the heat carriercycle. Preheating pump extracts high temperature water after connect heater, water thatpump out is poured to cold water system, so as to form a systemic circulation, when thetemperature reaches a certain temperature, auxiliary diesel oil pump and lubricating oilpump are restarted, heating respectively in the oil and diesel oil. Diesel and lubricating oilin heat exchanger are heated by the water of water system.There are parameter time-varying, nonlinear, big inertia and pure time-delaycharacteristics in the heat exchange process between oil and water of locomotive insulationsystem, so the traditional PID control can not achieve satisfactory control effect. The paperdesigns a fuzzy PID control method that fuzzy control can adjusting PID parametersreal-time with Smith predictive controller. It can be applied to the parking insulationcontrol and heat transfer temperature control system, through the contrast with the PIDcontrol and Smith-PID control method in the MATLAB simulation environment. Itdemonstrates that the design of the Smith-fuzzy PID control method realized the goodperformance of parking insulation system for accurate control of temperature, the Smith-fuzzy PID control method make the control system has faster response speed and good robustness, at the same time it can improve the stability of system and anti-jamming abilitylargely.At last, the Wei Kong touch screen and S7-200PLC are chosen for as the up anddown machine through the analysis of the design system, and the extended module wiringdiagram and configuration interface which can real-time reflect the temperature of waterand oil are designed, the configuration interface also can realize real-time monitoring theworking condition of heater and water pump and oil pump. The PLC program of thesystem is written under the environment of Step7.
