In order to overcome the time-delay characteristic of the plants in industrial process, a comprehensive optimization analysis method to Fuzzy PID Controller is proposed in this thesis. Based on the design target, the method optimizes the control rules and parameters of the fuzzy controller and improves the properties of the fuzzy controller. The new controller combined to Smith predictors is the optimization Fuzzy PID-Smith Control System. With the simulation by Matlab and based on the defined index, the results show that the system has better control performance than conventional method and reveal good application potential for the time-delay process.
