With the development of communication technology, transmission and processing allkinds of information has become an indispensable part of people’s life. Video informationand data information also walk into people’s production and life. So in data transmission,speed and accuracy is particularly important, high-speed transmission also put forwardhigher requirements on the channel and transmission equipment. High speed datatransmission is an important adaptation index to modern information technology, in recentyears the study of high speed data has achieved rapid development, using various means toimprove the data transmission rate is always the pursuit of the goal. Because the propertiesof hardware, fault of software system or disturbances, the error is inevitable while data istransferred. As a practical communication system, various disturbances, and adjacentchannel interference etc. the key is to minimize the possibility of transmission errors, assoon as mistakes are discovered, they should be corrected.This paper based on the ARM11hardware development platform and improvedTurbo decoding algorithm to control the error rate in digital signal transmission system,this system can greatly reduce the error rate. This paper describes the subject mainly fromthe hardware and software. First of all the author constructs an ARM11developmentsystem based on Samsung S3C6410. The board is constituted by core board and expansionboard, and then design the power supply module, circuit diagram of high speed signal inputinterface and a serial to parallel conversion module etc. Compare several commonly usederror control method and final select the Turbo code to control the BER of the systemtransmission process. Turbo code is a the channel coding which performance close toShannon limit, Turbo code uses short code to construct the equivalent meaning of longcode, to achieve the error correction performance of long code without increasing thecomplexity of decoding. The coding process is coding original code and code which afterintertwined together. In the encoding and decoding process of Turbo codes interleaver isone of the important factors which influence the ability of error correction. This paper presents a more easily implemented design method of interleaver on the hardware. Byincreasing the shift register has improved the performance of Turbo codes. Finally, alsointroduced the installed of software system and the configured of developmentenvironment, and ultimately to successfully transplanted the algorithm to the ARM11development board, to reduce the error rate.
