With the continuous development of computer technology, communication technology,network technology and integrated circuits technology,embedded system has become a focus inthe field of current IT industry and is widely used in industrial production and smart homes andother fields.Among various kinds of embedded operating system,Linux operating system with alot of advantages such as its open source,stable performance and powerful network function getsmore and more attention in the field of embedded.To establish a complete embedded Linux development platform is the primary task forembedded Linux software development.Taking Ting6410development board which uses thesamsung S3C6410chip based on ARM11kernel as the hardware platform, we study how tobuild an embedded Linux application development platform.This text contains six parts whichare the establishment of the cross compiling environment, the BootLoader transplantation, theconfiguration and compilation of Linux2.6kernel, the establishment of the NFS file system, thecompilation and transplantation of QT application development library and the embeddedapplication development sample based on QT.
