Research And Realization Of Management System In AS/RS For Troops Medicinal Material

Medicinal materials is one of the necessary logistics support materials during thepeacetime and wartime of troops,which has the characteristics of many varieties, largequantity, fast consumption, large storage space,etc.At present, Medicinal materials ofthe Guangzhou troops were stored by planar storage. There is a series of problems inthe storing and taking process,such as storage space is not enough, difficult inmanagement, low efficiency, high labor intensity of workers and so on.So,this paperresearch the management mode, structure, operation process, storing and takingtechnology, sorting technology in Automated Storage and Retrieval System(for shortAS/RS), combined with the characteristics of management and medicinal materialswarehouse of troops, designed a management system in AS/RS for medicinalmaterials warehouse of troops.The system uses these technologies,such as the storage strategy of classificationand localization,the goods allocation principle of partition management and first infirst out, the goods allocation address coding method of tunnel-layer-rank-row,thepicking method of discreet,the sorting technology of picking orders and automaticselection,etc.In this system, the AS/RS is designed by classification, and general,precious,emergency medicinal materials are stored in different AS/RS.The systemfunction includes automated access, storing and taking management, stock query andstatistics, location using state query and statistics, management control of job queue,running water record query, checking and changing account. Besides，the system uses amodular design of high cohesion and low coupling to reduce the mutual influencebetween sub-modules,which makes the system easier to maintenance and expansion.The application of Management System in AS/RS for medicinal materialswarehouse of troops,which realizes the management functions of medicinalmaterials,such as automated access, automated storing and taking, automated job,dataquery and statistics,stock date maintenance, system maintenance and so on.Thesystem solves the problems of planar storage for troops medicinal material,but alsomeets the need of storage for explosive,poisonous,lowtemperature and other specialmedicinal materials,which has the great practical value.
