Design And Implementation Of Smart Home System Based On ZigBee Technology

With the development of science and technology and the continuous improvement of people’s material life level, People has higher requirement for quality of life; However, the traditional household as a simple living space already cannot satisfy people’s demand for high quality life. The yearning household should be intelligent living environment that more safe, comfortable, convenient. So, smart home system gradually come into people’s lives, it optimizes the household environment and brings people a more convenient and efficient intelligent way of life, it becomes the development trend of the house and home in the future. Based on the analysis of smart home system status quo at home and abroad, the paper proposes a design scheme of smart home system based on ZigBee technology; sensor technology, ZigBee wireless communication technology and embedded technology are successfully applied to the design of smart home system,the paper accomplishes two main design of hardware and software components about ZigBee wireless sensor network and central processor. In the design of ZigBee wireless sensor network, wireless radio frequency chip CC2530based on the ZigBee standard are selected as the core hardware, the circuit is designed according to the function requirements of the various nodes and the system uses the Z-Stack protocol as the foundation of the software. In the IAR software, completing the foundation of wireless network and the development of various nodes driver, it realizes the information acquisition of the luminance, rain, the temperature and humidity within the household and harmful gases and external invasion. it can also control the curtain, lighting, household electric appliances, etc. In the design of the central processor, adopting high performance ARM9S3C2440chip as the CPU and completing the peripheral circuit design, the system developing the Ethernet interface attached to external GPRS module. on the hardware, by transplanting embedded Linux operation system as software development platform, where transplant the embedded web server BOA and development of application software.User can monitor and control of smart home system remotely through a browser and mobile phone.The smart home system designed by the paper has many advantages, such as small volume, less wiring, easy maintenance and good controllability, etc. But in the function design of smart household system is not comprehensive enough, need to gradually perfect work in the future.
