Research On UI For TD-SCDMZ/TD-LTE Signal Tester

In China, the progress of technology and the growth of economy have been developing andperfecting the TD-SCDMA, one of the three international communication standards of the thirdgeneration mobile systems.In recent year, more has been invested the research of TD-SCDMA,accelerating the development of the system and the corollary equipments, promoting theindustrialization; more cell phone manufacturers have also taken an active part in the research anddevelopment of cell phone installed with this system.The industry of TD-SCDMA are being builtup and the TD-SCDMAsignaling terminal tester has become the focal point.Compared to the TD-SCDMA communication standard, TD-LTE, which inherited all themajor elements of TD-SCDMA, is a new proprietary intellectual property rights generationmobile systems.Since long time ago, many enterprises and relevant universities had set up theTD-LTE research. As the evolutionary technology of TD-SCDMA, TD-LTE has fixed somedefects of the third generation mobile systems. At present, the TD-LTE industrial chain has beenapproved and adopted by some main domestic and overseas operators; mobile signaling terminaltester based on this system is also in the pipe line. Accordingly, mobile signaling terminal testerbased on TD-LTE system will possibly become a mainstream industry.This paper has mostly introduced the research and accomplishments of “the HMI design ofthe signaling terminal tester based on TD-SCDMA/TD-LTE” by the author.Here is the overviewof the content:the history of mobile communication, the evolutionary process ofTD-SCDMA/TD-LTE, introduction of the mobile communication system basedTD-SCDMA/TD-LTE and the industrial process, the applications and vista of mobile signalingterminal tester and the necessity of this research subject.With a brief understanding of the3GPP protocol, the paper has also presented the mainfunction of the signaling terminal tester for the key test items of mobile terminal and theadvantages of the signaling terminal tester.Meanwhile, the paper,based on needs, details the HMI design of the signaling terminal tester,including the structural frame and the division of functional sections.Finally,we analysis theproblems occur during test,such as software crash and any other problems.We use multi-threadingto solve these problems successfully.
