With the growth of China’s television industry, TV opera programhas experienced enormous glory. As the carrier and disseminator ofChinese opera art, TV opera program has made an indeliblecontribution to the inheritance and development of traditionalculture. At present, as the rapid development of modern mediadiversification, the competition of TV media is heating up. TV operaprogram is facing multiple difficulties. It’s especially important toadjust flexibly the contents and forms of the opera programaccording to the development of times and the increasing culturalconsumption demand of the people. But the key is how to adjust.“Be in Chinese Opera Stage” program in Shanxi TV is one of theearlier opera programs in China. Reviewing the developmentprocess of the program and analyzing its creative practice are ofpositive significance to promote the development of Shanxi operaart and local opera. This thesis conducts an in-depth analysis for thecontents, forms, audiences, transmission effects, brandconstruction and audience conditions, etc., providing certain theoryreference to the development and innovation of other similar TVopera programs. Many TV programs give full play to the advantagesof regional culture and use its cultural resources to improve the TV media competitiveness, which is an effective way in the explorationof TV innovation and development. Combined with TV media,regional culture with its own characteristics demonstrates itsstrength and value.Taking “Be in Chinese Opera Stage” program in Shanxi TV as acase, the analysis and research on TV opera creation and practiceare typical and representative. How to really bear the task to carryforward national opera culture and art? How to broaden vision toexplore the transmission path of Chinese traditional culture? Andhow to highlight “Be in Chinese Opera Stage” program’s value andfind itself a new position in brand television opera programs? Allthese are still new issues worth to discuss.
