Discussion On The Status And Future Of Chinese Traditional Opera TV Programs

Chinese Opera has a long history and its the essence of our traditional arts and culture,not only portrayal of Chinese culture and spirit but also the World, Chinese Opera with the Greek tragedy. Indian Sanskrit drama called together as the world’s three ancienttheatrical culture.Since the relationship between Chinese opera and TV, traditional operas TV become the focus attention of the cultural sessions,especially traditional opera TV programs had experienced a long glorious period,but now its in a low period. So,the living condition of Chinese opera has been a important problem in the academic fields.After generations of television personalities efforts, the traditional opera TV programs forms has experienced a series of changes, academics all talking about how could the TV programs and traditional opera can be "marriaged".First,the traditional opera TV now has three forms:traditional opera teledrama, traditional operas TV in theatres and special traditional opera TV.I will pay a more attention to the column type of traditional opera TV, analyse the objective facts,such as the play channel number, distribution, and TV audiences’rating,then investigate the root cause of their survivability issues. Finally,trying to explore the future developing road of the programs.This paper argues that, in the present era that China is working to create the correct guidance of public opinion and building a harmonious society in this special historical situation, Chinese nation culture should be strengthened and performance in a wide range of media information. TV programs workers should take on this mission, reproduce the drama on the screen, especially to re-create the era of traditional opera to attract contemporary audiences. Chinese traditional opera is full of the essence of national culture. Television workers must fulfill this mission. The TV screen should be the face of opera culture, actor audience,opera history and so on.Its more important that put the traditional Chinese opera programs should be develop on the Public channel,do not stare at the data of TV audiences’rating, at the same time, basing on the traditional opera so as to explore its future developing ways and how to attract modern audience.And then traditional Chinese opera will become popular again.
