In modern industry, the visual detection technology is getting more widely used with characteristics of non-contact, short, long-distance measurement. Structured light measurement technology becomes a research focus with advantages of high precision, easy to extract the light of the image information, and real time. In the structured light three-dimensional detection system, processing and information extraction of structured light image is one of the key aspects of the entire detection tasks.In this paper, based on the development practices of large forgings measurement systems, a depth research of the structured light image preprocessing techniques, refining light bar and two-dimensional data extraction is conducted.In the structured light three-dimensional detection system, two-dimensional image data of the structured light reflects three-dimensional profile data. Combine two-dimensional data with internal with external camera parameters and image extraction space point count to obtain a three-dimensional point data, and the measured target is able to be three-dimensional reconstructed. Therefore, the quality of processing and information extraction of structured light image affects the accuracy of the entire three-dimensional measurement system.On the basis of analyzing the characteristics of structured light image,the research of structured light image preprocessing methods is carried out, specifically including removing artifacts, noise removal filtering, image threshold segmentation. Thereafter, this paper takes a research on extraction of structured light strip center. In this paper, the existing methods of the extraction of structured light strip center are reviewed, according to comparative analysis of the advantages and disadvantages and combined with the actual situation of the project, a suitable algorithm of refinement of light is proposed. Finally, the extraction method of the two-dimensional data of structured light image is studied. Combined with experimental images of the project, using the median method and least squares method to obtain structured light rays offset pixel location and distance information.By observing the results of the experiment, the effect of information extraction method of the two-dimensional data of the structured light image is good.
