This article expounds the design process of network fault monitoring and servicemanagement system software based on JAVA language and SQL Server database.Demand for the system design, feasibility analysis, problem definition and descriptionof the overall design in detail. We adopted the concept of software engineering anddevelopment process, and practice has proved the effectiveness and feasibility of thedesign. The JAVA programming language has a simple, object-oriented, security, platformindependence, etc. Using the SQL command language connect to the database throughJDBC, ODBC bridge, process data insert, query, modify, and delete operations, finallyreturn the results to the user.Based on the development of network fault monitoring and service management arethe following major functions:1. User rights assignment, the part is divided into administrator user andmaintenance users, permissions, different function, different operation interface.2. We Use the JAVA programming language and SQL Server database managementtechnology, the system have ability of the information query, deleted, added, andmodify operations. Administrators can generate repair form, maintenance technicianon-site maintenance points, get the user satisfaction.3. We use ICMP protocol and JAVA technology to design PING function to scannode equipment on timing and cycle, monitoring the working status. The first timefound the failure point. To better serve the Internet users.4. The system has information, add, modify, delete, and query function to nodeequipment manage. The Node equipments are routers and switches.5. Manage the alarm data information, add, modify, delete, and query function. Network fault monitoring and service management system is mainly used in LANmanagements, and a big company or university campus.Through actual operation, the results show that the system is safe and reliable, easyto use. And system has very good effect to network maintenance. Raise the level ofthe network management. Practice has proved the feasibility and reliability of thesystem design. |
