With the rapid popularization of intelligent terminals, the further reducing of the charge and the demand for high-speed data services, the3G subscriber penetration rate of China Telecom reached47.86percent at April2013, which means that the3G services step into the period of vigorous development. As the number of users and business growing, network maintenance results in increasing affairs. In order to quantify the switching between CDMA20001xEV-DO network and CDMA20001x network,"Switch Record Rate" and "Switch Duration Rate" are proposed. The problem that the terminal switch between1xEV-DO network and CDMA2000lx network when accessing network or stay dormant conditions are analyzed and optimized. The main content of this dissertation is organized as follows:(1) Firstly, the fundamental that the terminal switches from1xEV-DO network to CDMA2000lx network is introduced, and the switch between different scenes is summarized.(2) In order to quantify the switching between CDMA20001xEV-DO network and CDMA20001x network,"Switch Record Rate" and "Switch Duration Rate" are proposed. At the same time, the theoretical analysis of the various possibilities which cause the terminal not to access1xEV-DO network during different stages is given. And the optimized methods are performed.(3) Based on the quantization scales proposed above, the switching phenomena are compared from the two dimensions. The area is identified by the phenomenon, and corresponding optimized measures are taken for the actual operation of the network. At last, the optimized network is quantified, and the result achieves the desired requirements.
