Cultural Memory Of Local Writing-Study The Literary Supplement, Tianfu Weekend

Culture must use symbols in which most important is the words and images toprocessing and production. Every culture has its own special way of using symbols.Newspapers and supplement as a unique way of memory about cultural use words andprint faithfully to write regional cultural characteristics of a nation. The most typicalmedium of culture documental is the newspaper supplement. As a first choice to writeand remember the local ethnic culture, Newspapers and supplement become a windowand platforms of spying characteristics about regional culture. Chengdu, located in thehinterland of Bashu area, has the ‘land of abundance’ reputation since ancient times,Sichuan daily, with a long history, its literary supplement-Tianfu weekend, are bornwith a full-bodied of Bashu. It is not excessive to call it the best carrier of engravingand developing the Bashu culture.Based on the Bashu area, we will explore the origin and characteristics aboutBashu culture, and use the relevant theory of cultural memory to interpret the statusand role of literary supplement in remembering and writing local culture and it ispretty significant. The paper will break through the traditional framework of cultureresearch, and probe the relationship between local cultural and literary supplement,from the perspective of culture and the media. Meanwhile analyse the mode and lawof recording about local culture by literature and art supplement.In this paper, the author has summed up the development regularity andcharacteristics of literary supplement by combing the development history of Chineseliterary newspaper supplement. Especially summed up the huge role played by literarysupplement in remembering and writing the local ethnic culture, meanwhile byanalyzing the content in2013published in Tianfu weekend, the supplement ofliterature and art in Sichuan daily, as a single case, and relevant data and conclusions,this paper analyzed how the regional culture in Bashu area is remembered and writtenby Tianfu weekend. As a result, based on these studies, we will make some beneficialtheoretical exploration about the improvement or redesign for Tianfu weekend andmake the rich flavor of Bashu culture a new development in this field.
